During the months of July and August this position is day shift. During the months of September - June this position is second shift.

All applicants must be able to work with others and/or independently. Working knowledge of building cleaning methods, procedures and equipment; Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions; Willingness to perform routine manual work; Ability to repeatedly lift fifty (50) pounds or more; Ability to get along well with others; Thoroughness; Dependability; Cleanliness; and Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

Substitute Cleaner (SC07072023)SC07072023

This post is for the Substitute Cleaner position within the Addison Central School District.

Typical duties/responsibities of this position:

1) Sweep/mop rooms & hallways

2) Dust furniture, vacuum carpet, clean & wax floors

3) Collect & dispose of trash/garbage

4) Clean & sanitize restrooms & replenish supplies (soap, towels, etc.)

5) Replace light bulbs/batteries as needed, check conditions needing repair and reports these to supervisor

6) Cleans walkways of snow/rake leaves/might mow lawns, if needed

7) Unload delivery trucks, if needed

8) Other duties as assigned by supervisor

$15.00/hour
